Global Handwashing Day 2023

Global Handwash Day Celebration by the RISE Infinity Foundation and MahaPECOnet member Organizations

In October 2023, the RISE Infinity Foundation MahaPECOnet Secretariat, in collaboration with UNICEF Maharashtra and member organizations, celebrated Global Handwashing Day with great enthusiasm across schools, colleges, communities, and among staff members. The event saw active participation from members who organized various activities and competitions, engaging the masses in awareness campaigns about the importance of hand hygiene. Activity reports were submitted to the Secretariat and UNICEF Maharashtra, highlighting the extensive outreach efforts. Notably, partners such as Awesome Academy, Parivaransheel Sanstha, Nutan Vidyalaya, Center for Youth Development and Activities and Sarvdharma Mitramandal Karanjalad collectively reached an estimated 2,666 individuals directly through these activities. This collaborative effort underscores the commitment of the MahaPECOnet network to promoting health and hygiene practices within the community.
