Capacity building of Members
MahaPECOnet Thematic Consultation Online Training Series
To enhance the knowledge and skills of MahaPECOnet members, a comprehensive capacity-building training program series was conducted, focusing on thematic consultations and cross-learning. This initiative aimed to orient members to new concepts and frameworks emerging in the field of Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR). Conducted from January to February, the series included four online training sessions led by experts from Shrishti Consultants. These sessions introduced thematic external experts and provided opportunities for in-person DRR regional forums in Pune and North Maharashtra. The total participation for the series was 32 members.
Thematic Consultation Series Objectives:
- Deepening understanding of thematic areas.
- Tools, techniques and steps for developing localized programmes around MahaPECOnet thematic.
- Strengthening coordination and collaborative relations of partners around thematic areas for enhanced networking for mutual benefits.
