Initiatives for the International Day of Disaster Risk Reduction Celebration

I] Concept note on IDDRR celebration: A brief concept note was developed by the secretariat for the activities, suggestions and member engagement.

II] IDDRR Member Video: In observance, the secretariat initiated the creation of a video featuring its members. The video, dedicated to promoting disaster risk reduction, was thoughtfully crafted and was launched on the 13th of October. This video served as an effective visual tool to raise awareness and educate both the members and the wider community about the importance of disaster risk reduction.

III] DRR Quiz

To actively engage and test the knowledge of its members, a Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) quiz was conducted through polls on the WhatsApp platform on 13th October, 2023. This interactive quiz served the dual purpose of enhancing awareness about DRR and engaging the members in a fun and informative way.
