Mahapeconet-4.0

In MahaPECOnet 4.0, the secretariat concentrated on strengthening Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and GO-NGO collaboration through an extensive program of member engagement activities. These included capacity-building sessions, webinars, training, surveys, data collection from members, physical regional forums and organizing response and relief events. The coalition has continued to grow with guidance and input from key stakeholders, such as the State Disaster Management Authority, Divisional Disaster Management Coordinators, District Disaster Management Officers, Municipal Corporations, MahaPECOnet members, sector experts and UNICEF Maharashtra. By planning, designing and managing effective training sessions, roundtables and other activities, we significantly improved the knowledge and skills of our members. Through these strategic initiatives, MahaPECOnet 4.0 successfully bolstered the disaster management capabilities of its members, promoting a culture of preparedness and resilience across Maharashtra.
