Flood Relief Activity

MahaPECOnet’s member United Way Mumbai with support from their donor Amazon were able to reach the flood affected families of Maharashtra in partnership with the MahaPECOnet member – Sahyadri Foundation. MahaPECOnet facilitated the process. Shelter Kits were distributed in Mukindpur area of Wardha district. Shelter Relief Kits sponsored by Amazon were distributed by Sahyadri Foundation, Nagpur to the families of Members of Self Help Groups in Wardha district that were affected by the heavy rains. Mahila Arthik Vikas Mahamandal (MAVIM) Wardha assisted in selecting the needy beneficiaries from rural villages.
