Challenge, intervention and RIF role.

Challenge

Young people, especially from communities facing urgent need, need industry-relevant skills that connect education with employment, career growth and entrepreneurship.

Intervention

RIF supported a large-scale skilling effort for dependents of MLWB-registered workers, with special attention to women, persons with disabilities, migrant workers, daily wage earners and unemployed youth.

RIF role

Secretariat and coordination partner through the MahaPECOnet ecosystem.

  • The programme objective is to equip 40,000 youth in Maharashtra with industry-relevant skills.
